ON THE DAY ITSELF

Presentation Uploading

Presenters should proceed to the Presenters Counter as soon as possible after on-site registration to upload their presentations and any accompanying videos, such as through portable storage media (e.g. thumbdrive) or email. We encourage presenters to upload their presentations for smooth transition between presentations.

Presenters who wish to use their laptops for presentation should bring appropriate adapters for their laptops (e.g. USB-C to HDMI) to connect ot the audio-visual system.  Please inform the staff of your preference at the Presenters Counter.

We encourage all presenters to upload a copy of their presentations and videos for smooth transition between presentations and in case of contingencies.

We strongly recommend presenters to prepare more than one source of their presentations and videos in case of technical issues (e.g. email, thumbdrive etc.).

Before the Presentation

Please be at the presentation venue 5 – 10 minutes before the allocated timeslot to prepare for your presentation.

During the Presentation

Lapel microphones, handheld microphones and standard laser pointers will be available at all presentation venues.

Presenters may wish to bring their own laser pointer – please provide them to the technical crew beforehand and claim them back after the presentation.

Large cue cards will be flashed by the technical crew 10 minutes, 5 minutes and 2 minutes before the end of the presentation (where appropriate for the presentation item).
