Building Resilience in the Age of AI

A key pillar to sustainability in AI is the resilience in protecting fundamental freedoms as well as safety in online public spaces. This has become increasingly important in the face of growing concerns around deepfakes and the impact of chatbots on our societal wellbeing. Deepfakes could be misused in a few ways, such as tech-facilitated violence by criminal syndicates in scams and fraud operations. Safeguarding our digital public space as well as the use of AI will call for a range of interventions. Join our discussion to explore multifaceted considerations from scaling technical challenges in detecting deepfakes that are problematic in context, to ensuring the right incentives of technology providers across the supply chain to address appropriate risks, and the education and awareness of people as the last mile.

9 December 2025 (Tuesday)

Our Water Story

Water security has always been central to Singapore’s development story. This track highlights our nation’s resilience journey in ensuring a clean, reliable, and sustainable water supply, while also looking ahead to the challenges of climate variability, urban growth, and rising demand. Discussions will feature PUB’s latest innovations in water reuse, desalination, and digital water management, alongside perspectives from partners driving global water sustainability. Participants will learn how science, technology, and policy come together to ensure that Singapore remains a world leader in water resilience.
