Note: All registrations, attendance and no-shows will be communicated to the partner institutions. The Organising Committee reserves the right to charge for no-shows.

Payment Options

Registration Fee

  • All fees quoted are in Singapore Dollars (SGD). The Organiser reserves the right to bill additional charges if registrations have passed the early-bird deadline (15 October 2025) or if a valid student pass was not provided.
  • Your registration will only be processed after registration payment has been received (if any).

Online payment is made to SPARK PLANNERS PTE LTD through Stripe only.

Bank payment account details will be provided on the online registration form.

Please indicate the following for bank transfer:

  1. Please ensure that the conference name, “SSC2025” and the “name of the participant” are stated in the bank transfer.
  2. All bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at the source in addition to the registration fee.
  3. A completed remittance advice of the bank transfer should be emailed to the Conference Secretariat, Ms Sabi Cheng at ssc_secretariat@events-sp.com
  • The Organiser will not refund any currency conversion fee, merchant charge, platform fee, or other administrative charge levied by your bank, financial institution or transaction platform.
  • Full refunds will be granted to registrants if, prior to the commencement of this conference, the Singapore government implements restrictions on travel, events, social gatherings or other measures on activities that affect the continuity of this conference.
  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing to ssc_secretariat@events-sp.com with the subject line “CANCELLATION” by 15 October 2025. A cancellation fee of 50% of the registration fee, plus an administrative charge of SGD 80, will apply.
  • Refunds will not be granted after 15 October 2025 nor will they be given for no-shows.
  • Delegates who are unable to attend the conference may send an alternate, i.e. single substitution only.
  • Substitution requests must be submitted to the Organiser in writing to the Conference Secretariat, Ms Sabi Cheng at ssc_secretariat@events-sp.com with the subject line “SUBSTITUTION REQUEST” by 15 October 2025.
  • Substitutes are not immediately entitled to present in lieu of or as proxy for the prior delegate – substitutes should submit their own abstract for consideration.
  • The Organiser will evaluate substitution requests on a case-by-case basis, and have the final say on affected abstracts and presentations.

Terms and Conditions

REGISTRATION

  • Please complete the conference registration and pay the registration fees by 15 October 2025. Late payment may result in your abstract and presentation being omitted from the abstract booklet, conference programme and any other publications distributed at the conference.
  • Early-bird registration applies for fees received by 15 October 2025.
  • Payment of any outstanding fee amount owed to the conference will have to be completed online via credit card or bank transfer.
  • For walk-in registration, standard conference items will be available only while stocks last.

PERSONAL DATA

By providing your information during registration, you hereby agree that the Organiser and its appointed event organiser (SPARK PLANNERS PTE LTD) may collect, use, disclose, and store your data for the following purposes:

  • Facilitating the management and logistics of the event.
  • The Organiser or appointed event organiser may contact you via email or business contact number for any notifications related to the Singapore Scientific Conference 2025.
  • Legal purposes where necessary, including investigations or proceedings.
  • The provided information is handled in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act – 2012 (PDPA).

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY

Professional photography and videography will take place during the event. By participating, you consent to A*STAR, NTU, NUS and supporting partners using the images and videos for any form of publicity usage such as website, media and publication purposes.
